Researchers (a mathematician and an economist) tracked two group of students; one from the 1970s and another group in the early 1990s. The question they seek to answer is: Did those accepted at the most elite schools actually earn more money during their highest earning potential decades than those who had similar SAT scores but were rejected from the top academic institutions?
